Search terms. A name or location entered in a search box is sent to the outside provider that powers the tool. Carter County Released Inmates does not store or log those search terms on its own systems.
Messages. Email and contact-form messages are retained as needed to respond. They are not shared outside the organization unless disclosure is required by law.

Normal site operations may collect these details when a page loads:
